Chopin Hero

Play-along with Frédéric Chopin; Nocturne in F major. The player sits down at a piano with four keys lit up. As the music starts, you listen, watch the lights, and press the matching key — just like in the familiar video game.

I designed and built this as a low-tech interactive piece for an interactive theatre performance. A Max/MSP control panel drives an Arduino-based electronics rig.
